coolant temp sensor

does any 1 know were the coolant tempreture sensor is located

I had an erratic temp gauge which turned out to be just the connectors behind the dials playing up. That wouldn't explain the ecu problem though...

cheers m8t found it the guy in the shop gave me the wrong part so i was looking 4 something totally diffrent, seems to have sorted the red light just a bit sluggish not half as bad though

I want to check my temp sensor. Is it the blue plug / connector on the side of the thermostat and does it just pull off. Don't want to tug at something and break it.
