Hello guys, I found an ad of a 1.4 16V 95hp conversion out of a Lancia Ypsilon, for just 150 euros, with 84,000kms and the seller claims it's this low due to getting rid of stock.

Seller says it's got : motor, transmission, harness, ecu, driveshafts, keys, front suspension and brakes, starter, alternator, A/C compressor, motor mounts, exhaust and whatever else is needed for the swap.

Anyway, assuming it's a good unit, isn't it almost a like-for-like swap just like swapping in with another 1.2 16V unit?

Our Brava is a '00 model with cable throttle and clutch, I can give you any other information if needed.

Could the 6spd Panda/Stilo box be swapped in as well if found?

Thanks!

Well it seems like everything should be basically compatible, if your car is the older pre drive-by-wire setup it may be less compatible with the newer stuff but I'm sure it could be made to work if you've got the harness etc.

No need to change the gearbox if the original is supplied?

Oh, so there's a chance we're gonna run in issues of having to swap a whole harness?

Here's a pic of the engine bay in case it helps :
