I have a brava, but if I had a Bravo, I'd want clear lights wouldn't I? anyway i was admiring a HGT the other day when it struck me that the bravo rear lights have transparent plastic covers with different coloured lenses behind them
if you could remove this cover and say, hack out or possibly colour code some of the bits inside you'd have a really original looking rear end.........wouldn't you?

Yes you would. I have had a dead spider inside my plastic cover for a couple of years. He's not colour co-ordinated:D

I have a similar problem with water in between the two layers on my indicator repeaters. Tried separating them but it looks like the plastic will break before the adhesive. I may have to drill a couple of small holes.

If your rear lights are the same then you may be able to cut round the base with a fine modelling saw, remove the coloured lens and then reglue it.

Just one other point, the lensing is on the coloured part. So if you remove that you may have to frost the inside of the clear plastic. A weak silver wash, (a little silver mixed with clear lacquer), might do it. Try it on a scap bit of plastic first.

85% of Marea HLX drivers have speeding tickets.... lol they'll have to catch me first.

no! i was thinking along the lines of removing the outer clear shell. (easy!!!) then hacking off all the coulered bits, just leaving the bulbs and reflectors showing. then fitting coloured LED bulbs instead of coloured lenses. don't even have a 3 door. just speculating

you can get direct replacememnt LEDs with about 20 on them they plug right into the bulb holder.
