Hi Everyone, new here....

I've water leaking from what looks like my gearbox but plainly it is from the core plug beneath the gearbox......

Obviously I will have to remove the gearbox but.............

What size is the core plug, as I don't want to be stuck with the box off with the wrong size plug in my hand !!!

Thanks in advance,

Jmc

I've looked in my Tipo Haynes... same engine block (1.4 and 1.6) as the Brava 1.4, there's no spec given. Just talk to Fiat or an engine centre. They're probably the same as for the Bravo / Stilo / Multipla 1.6 16V that was the same block again but with a new modern head.

Obviously it's worth changing all the plugs while you're at it.

Hi,

FYI folks, mine was a 50mm plug, not the nicest of jobs but to myself and a friend around 4 hours.

gearbox off, one drive shaft off, passenger side.....

Cheers,
