Hey Tidy, best of luck finding another HGT, you can also put an add in our free wanted section here
I did not see many on eBay or Autotrader in the second half of 2012 seems to have really dropped off recently. Probably worth keeping an eye on gumtree, theres been some nice ones in the past on that site.

if anyone on there quest spots my bravo hgt 20vt for sale let me know (j8 bep) or if removed will be r417 bfc but currently still on my private plate.

this one looks ok to me, if you put standard/or coupe 20vt alloys on it.

i would say id be wary about the 'its been cammed and chip'd bit, but if it had a receipt then there is a possibility then it might have been done!? if so, id say buy it because its rare to see someone fit some aftermarket cams in them because they are so expensive.

I think he was a bit lazy with the interior photos.
The first pic of the front seats is a picture of my 1.4 12valve
This is the same pic saved on my gallery;
And then the pic of the rear seats. The rear seats look homemade, the door cards have a different material and the drivers seat is fabric. (edit found a bigger version of the pic he used for the rear, its a one off car i found on google https://www.fiatforum.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=67836 )

I found only one on eBay and 7 ads on gumtree, 4 were for same 2 cars.
I live in the north of scotland (maybe should've said that to begin with)
So to go and look at something it needs to be good condition and cheap.
The one on eBay 589 miles away lol.

what he offer for it?, ive been to see the car and the timing beltsd need to be done, and the oil looks like its the factory stuff(really old)
should got for a coupe 20v instead or a marea

rather than buying one with little history for £500 and due servicing and belts, i think you would be better off spending £1000 odd on a good one with service history etc.

No because i already have 6 cars, some really nice ones and others not as nice.
This would be getting used as a daily runner to take me to work etc (mixer driver at a quarry)
So don't want a mint example at top money just a reasonable one with a decent MOT on it.
My first one cost £800 7 or 8 years ago, my last one was £300.

i take it your going to do the cambelt/service your self then, cos these cheap ones are often cheap because they are due the £400 cambelt change

You must be Loaded, i used the Marea for a week and i spent 3 times as much in fuel as i did in the Bravo, the 20v are weekend cars in my opinion or track monsters like Beau's old Bravo 20vTURBO

Im actually thinking of selling mine mate,its not an original hgt. its a 1 off 20v but to the average joe no one will know.
Might be getting another 20vt coupe,but if this guy lets me down then i wont be sellin as ill need it on rd for transport.

I'm far from loaded but i know how much these use on fuel from the 2 i've had before and it's not that much worse than my current work whip.
And it's no where near as bad as my discovery ... 25mpg on the motorway lol
