Hi All,

Me again. I'm having the Brava 115 ELX serviced and MoT'd by a local garage next week, and I just want to check what the minimum disc thicknesses are (I don't have the manual - its being printed by Fiat, and I presume they are about to cut a tree down to begin the paper-making process as I write this email).

I want to make sure that, if they call me and tell me the pads and discs need replacing, I can verify that they actually need to be replaced!

Hi!

The brake disc is 257mm, vented, 18mm minimum specified thickness! Easy
way to check is to run you fingernail across from the outer-rim to the hub,
if it digs or catches you really need new discs! These discs do rust badly if
the car isn't well used by the way - I've just made this discovery myself!!!

Specified pad thickness is 1.5mm minimum for all models, check what type
of pad-wear sensor electrical lead you have as sometimes the original
black AMP rounded connector has been replaced by a rectangular one!
