Put more fuel in (y)

I think that the more fuel you have in your tank the more pressure it has in pushing it round the fuel line to the fuel pump and injectors. if there is not enough fuel or a small amount of air is getting into the fuel line it will misfire

If the tanks all crapped up the fuel pressure (as DanBravo1.6 said) may not be quite enough.

hey again! well does anyone experience the same problem i have? and will redex help at all?

I've been having this lately too with my Brava SX 1.2. The petrol level is under 2/8th, dunno if you'd class that as particularly low. Had a mech replace the fuel filter, air filter and oil, topped up the coolant too, but it's still being a bit dodgy. He also took it round to his MOT mate and had an emissions test done, and that checked out fine. So he reckons it may be something to do with the electronics.

What do you guys reckon? A trip to the diag machine? I'll fill the tank up later today and have a drive and see if that improves things - bloody 93p a litre round here now so not looking forward to that.

Oh, and hi everyone :)

I'm a Brighton boy me. Well I just filled her up to the top and drove around for 30 mins, still can get a bit shaky if I rev it a bit hard in second - which is a bit of a pain for hills. It seems to be a bit better though. In any case it might encourage me to be a `better` driver

well at least im not the only 1! its good to hear other people have the same problems!! ;) ill just keep my petrol above half should be ok hopefully!
