i bought my wife a 1.6 sx bravo last weekand the flap on the streo is open does the flap close when there is a tape in there? the car is parked round her mums because it has no tax and she is waiting for a cover note to get the tax and have not tryed the streo yet
The flap should stay down when you push it down. The catch is weak and they do break so if it doesn't stay down then that's the problem. It won't affect the operation of the unit though. Replacement stereos can be picked up on eBay for about £10 or you could fit an aftermarket unit with a facia adaptor.
