hello, wounder what people think about replacing the door andels as you can see mine are in not the topest shape any recomendations???

Colour coded Marea handles is what most people go for or if you don't want to spend as much, get some decent replacements from a scrapyard.

I have a Brava and got 2 handles from a member here, two from a scrapyard for a tenner (all had to be primed and painted which cost around £30 in materials). Or you can buy them new and ready primed from Fiat at around £25 each I think.

will the alfa 147 handles fit on a brava like they will a bravo? a possibility there maybe?

They will on the front - can you get 147s with 5 doors that have lockless handles that wil fit to the rear of a Brava? Now that I don't know, have only ever seen it done on Bravos so don't know the answer.

ah didnt think of the rear my bad

I just found the answer - there is a five door version but the rears aren't 'normal' so won't fit a Brava, unless ones from an older version do

the alfa 147 doesnt have proper rear handles.....at all!

that IS a picture of one of the first 147s (one of the orignal press photos) to prove that they, like the new ones didnt!

Well, we answered that question - no Alfa 147 handles on a Brava unless you're very clever with a bit of metalwork.

Yes they do mate! They're the same dimensions, and everything fits right, apart from a little modification to one of the levers (Little hacksaw job, that's all!)

The only problem is getting hold of them cheap enough! If you search ebay for 'alfa 147 handle' and nothing comes up, just save it as a 'favourite search' and you'll get emailed when new ones get listed. I got one from there for about £20 and the other (quite scratched up though :-() from a scrappie for £35. You could always try yuor luck phoning scrapyards
