hey all im looking at buying a 1.4 s n reg bravo with 58k on the clock for £800. i just wondered how mouch people would think that it would be or should be or has been on their insurance as a provisional/ newly qaulified driver? it would be me and no-one else on the car. if anyone has any experience please could you reply. i am also 17. thanks very much regards andy

I was paying £750 fully comp for a 1.2 in my first year, bearing in mind I am female and was slightly older. However, quotes ranged from £1.5k down to that so if at first you don't succeed, try again. And I still say don't buy it as by spending more money now you'll save in the long term on petrol and maintenance but if you're determined then make sure the cambelt has been changed and that you have 2 blue keys, 1 red key, a radio code and a partridge in a pear tree ;)

Dont just try any quote, take time and quote all the places i find that if you co to www.autotrader.co.uk it will quote all the insurers for you, im on my first yr still i have a brava 1.4 s 1997 and im paying £1300 therd party fire/t that the best 1 i got with norwith union

good luck

Im 19 and am paying about £650 TPFT with elephant its far the cheapest I found with other companys wanting nearly 2k!!
Mine is a 1.4 1998 . . . which is a bit ill at the moment!

I'm with Asda insurance "which is underwritten by norwich union" :p I'm 19 and currently paying £850 TPFT on my 1997 1.6SX Bravo.
I used my Pass Plus certficate, so if you havent already done so, go for that- depending on the insurance company, it can half your premium-took 48% off mine (y)
