Bought a 2001 1.2 16v Bravo with 72k on for a project. I'm looking at putting a coupe engine in it. Has anyone done this before? How difficult will it be? Also how hard are a arts kits to come by?

A few here have done it. A lot to change. Easier if you have a pre facelift.

With the 1.2 as well as the usual brakes suspension subframe etc I think you need a bit of rewiring behind the dash (or strip the car and rewire it with the HGT body loom)

Why not get a 156 V6 instead, a set of GTV hubs/wishbones/subframe and try that, something a bit different, it will all fit together..... ;)

I don't see the difference in starting with the hgt. If you've got a complete coupe donor your going to be using everything from it, ie the complete front subframe, rack, pipe work, struts, hubs, brakes everything.

And the same at the rear. Using the coupe complete rear axle.
I believe hgt's should be kept as hgt's where as Boggo spec models are cheap and plentiful.
