Hi all me again, Brava 1.6 16v N reg

I had all sorts of problems come to light with this car I have just gotten hold of, The car would stall if reversing in low revs, The engine would idle badly and rattle, and when I put my foot down to pull away in first quickly she would lose power then afater a second or two she would kick in again. and she was running to rich.

After lots of asking about this in here and in the local Fiat garage, I found out that it could have been the Lambda sensor. I just got a new one and fitted it it, it took ages to undo the last one. I had to jack the car up then hold the car up on stands, while I clamberd under to undo the sensor. After about three hours of banging and grunting trying to remove it. My farther told me to hit the thing in the oposite direction, Came off first time, I had only been tring to tighten it. :bang:

Well after fitting the new sensor all the problems have gone and the car is running great, I have just filled up the tank with my last £5.00 and we will see how that goes.

I will however put some redex in ASAP.

All in all not a bad car for £400 and the £80.00 it cost for the sensor.
