You may remember my post about the dials I made up for myself:

Well due to the response I had some made up for mk1 HGT's, and now mk2 16valvers and HGT's too.

So if anyone wants to buy a set off me, click my sig pic for more info!
They're now £25 a set. If you want some, just PayPal me the cash and I'll send some out to you ASAP. I'll add to this post if stocks start running low!

Helz - PMed you back!

Steve C - They're fiddlier than the Lockwood ones, cos these don't fit around the needles, they fit Under them, so you have to take the needles off. It's a bit of a pain, but I do include some instructions from when I did it to mine.
I had some lockwood ones once, but
a) you have to cut apart your fiat ones to get them off , so to do a good job (and keep your standard dials for if you wanted to put them back) you'd best take the needles off anyway
and
b) They always let light creep out from around the needles.
So I figure your best to take the needles off regardless (Though With care cos you don't want to screw them up!)

Plus the lockwood ones still lit up green! Yuk!

Now then, I was wandering would it be poss for you to do them in black as i like the colour of the original ones but like the blue lights & design of yours. Is this possible or to much effort?

Beleive me mate, I tried and tried to find a way of making black ones but couldn't get it to work right. Sorry Mate

do you have some for the 1.4sx - the one with no rev counter...?

if not no probs, but, you've done a cracking job with them mate.

if you want some for the 1.4 just make your own, remove the original fiat dials, then scan them onto your PC, edit them in photoshop to whatever style you want (do not adjust size or crop them), then print the new dial design onto plastic sheet suitable for printers in any colour you want. you can even get metallic coloured sheets or pearl effects. once printed you cut them out and fit them. i suggest you make the holes big enough to avoid removing the needles when fitting, it is very very lucky if you get needles back on accurately.

if you watched art attack as a kid im sure you'll find it easy. i made and sold a few sets for escorts a few years ago. once you go to all the trouble of making the first set you might as well sell some. im sure you'd sell a few sets on fiatforum

And what about needles? Is it hard to get it off? I tried but no luck. Explanation needed???? Maybe...

needles simply pull off, they are only pushed onto a pin. the problem isnt getting them off, its getting them back on in the right position, once you pull the needle off the pin may (will) rotate, that means when you stick them back on you suddenly have half a tank more petrol than you did and your speedo is reading 20mph faster, or worse. in situations when i absolutely have to pull them off i first pull them a little until i can fit a nail file behind the needle, then i file a mark on the pin so i know how to refit them, i find a mark exactly under the needle works a treat, although perfect accuracy is never going to be achieved unless you are very lucky. but it doesnt really matter, the dials arent very accurate anyway, but you dont want to get a speeding ticket when you thought you were doing the limit, so be careful.
