greetings!

i am after some advice about a couple of things on my fiat brava which i hope someone may be able to answer for me.

i bought a fiat brava 1.4 s n reg 1996 last week. i have been reading the posts all week and i have found some great tips and information.

1 the mileometer is not working. i have found the instructions on the bravo-guide website to replace the bulb but i just wanted to check a couple of things? will it fail the next mot if this is not fixed? does anybody know the sort of price i am looking at for a garage to fix it? also i see the spare bulbs/wheat bulb are from halfords. the nearest halfords/car store to me is about 150 miles away so i really need to make sure i have the right bulb at the time. does anybody know if there is a code number for this bulb with halfords or what i sholud ask for?

2 the rear washwipe is working fine but the water spray is not operating. will this fail the next mot if left?
