Is it possible to take out the casing which hold the car radio/ cassette out. I have a good radio/cd player from previous car but my 97 bravo has a factory fitted unit.
I dont want to get a boot fitted multi cd changer, to much hassle.

It's very possible. In fact I'm willing to bet most people here have changed it. If you don't want to do it yourself, take it to a garage, Halfords did mine (then i had to take the unit out and rewire it so it'd work properly!) using the standard tools they pulled out the factory made unit and replaced it with my new stereo, you'll have to buy a facia tho' to go around the stereo so the hole doesn't look nasty!
