Does anybody know where exactly the pipes coming off the throlle body of a 1.2 16v cable throttle go? found a pipe coming from underneath my throttle body with a screw in it blocking it off once i took out the screw my car drove nicely but would hunt at idle ALLOT so wouldnt mind hooking that up properly wherever it should be going (y)

As in the engine breather pipe? That sits on top of the engines breather

One end goes into the main intake pipe

The other end goes into the manifold

I have a custom effort but the general principle is there. Just where the breather pipe goes into the intake I have a breather filter :)

ok the pipe i mean is on the opposite side if the TB was just hanging there with a large screw blanking it off

might be the one, as far as i can see theres only 2 pipes coming from it the first one as you showed a picture above the secon being the one i mean, can you show me where its meant to be hooked up to or let me know what page in that manual its mentioned and ill do it

Ok all the pipes going into the manifold:

  • Vacuum servo
  • Charcoal canister
  • Breather

The pipe on the right side of the injector is the vacuum servo pipe

The pipe on the other side is the charcoal canister

Is the picture any help? :)

cheers for the reply again man i think i should start taking photos and posting them after careful checking the engine tonight i noticed another pipe blanked so im gonna try explain it as best i can from what i can make out:

there seems to be a sensor (maybe a pressure sensor) beside where the oil cap is (offside of engine) now this sensor seems to be connected directly to the inlet manifold exactly where a pipe should be connected then go into the top of the engine and then onto where your mini breather filter is if that makes sense however on my engine that pipe does connect to the top of the engine but is blanked off where it usually should connect to the inlet manifold if that makes sense?

i got it all plumbed in correctly today if anything it just brought to light an underlying issue :(
