Does anyone know if a set of mk2 speedo clocks would fit into a mk1?

I perfer the look of the mk2 ones, they also have the electronic odometer

I've heard that they fit, no mods needed. But have no personal experience.

Theyll fit. Problem is they won't work. My TD100 was a mk1 and it worked off a speedo cable. My van (mk2) works off just 2 plugs, a white one and a yellow one. Full electric. Difference is noticeable when towing, the TD100's mileometer kept going when switched off and towed, vans one didn't

Your best bet is to look for a 96-99 Marea and use its dash

mine is a 98 bravo sx 1.4 .. the dash has only electric connectors ( 2).

is it a straight fit?

My dad used to drive a Marea TD100, it had the auto style clocks (redline 6k though) and most important, had a digital milometer. You would need to see what the plugs are like but I think it would fit and work
