When inserting a driveshaft into the gearbox with a tripod joint do you hit it in until it clips in or just insert it. I didnt want to force it in earlier but when i put it in it falls out quite easily. The manual only says to insert it in but in the past with other type of driveshafts they have always clipped in. Thanks

Mmm, I got the rubber seals closest to the gear box changed at Fiat. The mechanic removed the shafts and hammered the seals of. Put new ones on, hammered them gently along the drive shaft into the same position the old ones had before. He then reinserted the shafts into the gearbox with no force other than his hand and tightened the metal band on the gear box end of the seals. New gear oil and good to go (y)

You should be able to just slide the drive shafts into the gear box with no tools basically :slayer::slayer::slayer:
