hi i have a marea weekend 1.6 petrol 2000 and would like some help.it started losing power after i wasnt using for about 4 weeks ive had a friend check it out and he thinks maybe ijector 4 is blocked hes checked the plugs and leads also did a compression test on it ..just wondering if there is anything else i could check as injectors seem a bit pricey any help would be great thanks

Check the resistance of the faulty injector with a Multimeter. It should be above 13 Ohms. If the resistance is still good, you could take the injectors out and have them cleaned with an ultrasound device. That should clear any blockages. Also check if the fuelrail is clean on the inside.

If the resistance of the faulty injector is below 11 ohms, its nackered and needs to be replaced. It's not going to work ever again.

for starters you could try putting in a bottle of injector cleaner.
