couple of days ago, I noticed, strange mechanical noise ir engine compartment.

after better listening, I realized that it runs from the gearbox or near it (clutch.....).

any ideas?

I haven't checked gearbox OIL level yet, having problem's with the screw...

Does it go away when you press the clutch down if yes it will be your clutch release bearing has gone

Check the oil in the gearbox, and try to top it up, with the same type, until it flows out the filling hole.

OIL level normal, OIL clean.

Meh.

Hmm, not heard that on gearbox or clutch before, i've only ever heard that specific tick from distrobuters in cars .

Since like its associated with something that runs with the engine though,

Annoyingly, finding clicks like that are a nightmare to track, wonder if the belt tentioners could cause clicking like this, they do on some timing chain engines, but not sure about belts .
