General Brava replacement boot contacts??

Hi,

As with a lot of other people who have already posted, I have had issues with my rear wiper and demister not working on my '96 Brava. With the help of these posts I have located where my problem lies. The wiring behind the 4 pin plate on the boot has melted the contacts housing and needs replacing all together.

My question is, where can I get hold of a replacement (inc. wiring plugs in the back)? What is the part actually called??

I had a look round my local scrap yard today but no Brava's currently there, to get a replacement.

Any help or advice would be gratefully received,

Hi Neil welcome to the forum.

You could check eBay second hand ones are listed there quite a lot. Have a look at our copy of ePer you can get the part number and order it with your local Fiat dealer, Or just give your local dealer a ring, mine are always happy to help.

I took a look through the ePer the other day but struggled to locate the part I was after! Any ideas under what catagory it might be?

Its under EQUIPMENT AND ELECTRICAL CONTROLS then wipers Have a look at these two. Both links are for 1996 Fiat Brava RHD

Also i should have said if you take the part of your car there is normaly a part number printed onto it.
