I'm replacing my rear arm have the whole thing stripped out (hub etc etc) and the baby is ready to come right off except for one problem. There's one big bolt still holding the arm in and is down right refusing to come out,i've hammered, twisted, pulled and cried trying to get the darn thing out but it won't budge .It's twisting and letting me take off the nut at the back (exhaust side) which is telling me there is movement but just not in the right direction, has anybody got any idea how to remove this bolt?

Thanks

Well just to cheer you up in the past ive had the whole subframe off and cut the bloody bolt out, you can just get in with a blade down either side to cut off the bolt if you have one of those reciprocating saws.
The reason its turning is because its seized in the bearings and they are turning with the bolt.

thanks for coming back to me boys, looks like i'll be getting the saw and ending this 2 day episode. Are those bolts a common size by any chance for when i'm putting the new arm on?

got it out and replaced it in the end, just got on the grinder to get the arm out and got a new bolt from the scrap's,thanks for the help and sympathy :)
