My 1.4 1997 bravo sx "seems" to be able to get about, however the idle is erratic at the most!
Sometimes it can be high but when engine gets warm its a cougher and splutterer, now i initially thought, coil pack, dud spark plug or lead, changes all still got that issue.
So then after a bit more driving, it was stalling and kangarooing on acceleration from low rev points.
So i thought id try cleaning the camshaft sensor, which seems to have helped a little but the idle issue is still present.
which leaves me with the idle air solenoid or possibly another sensor, i did try an obd microscan code reader on it but it keeps saying link error, something to do with the ecu type maybe.
Ok so in summary when i pull off the connector for the IAS it goes from a bog to higher revs, plug back in it bogs, out revs up, in bog, so im guessing it could well be that im going to have to burn £100 in my back pocket for one of these solenoids unless any other bravo owners have had similar symptoms and managed to rectify it :worship:
All the best
