Anyone know where you can buy these seperately? I bought the adaptor to fit my own stereo and noticed there were 3 holes along the bottom, someone said that you can get a cover that looks like the original radio to cover up your own existing radio?

they got them for £11 but I have seen an adaptor and false facia on ebay for £7 so will give that a go first. Got a few more important things to do but thought it would be god security.

buts saves threads, dontchathink?

anyways, i am going to frankenstein my head unit. anyone know whether i can have the clock working without the body. i was thinking an aftermarket hu behind the current grundig faceplate, but still i want the oem clock working look.

it looks silly but i'm thinking of hinges at the later stages. that way i can cover up the alpine.
 
or maybe i can get a digital clock and wire the lcd, backlight and the hour and minute buttons. i bet someone here has done or attempted this before.
here's to a eureka moment.
