my interior lights stopped working a few weeks ago,(brava 1.2 sx 2001)
ive just got round to have a look at it today i changed the fuse according to the manual 10amp in A12 with no look.
i then took the light fitting apart and the bulbs are fine and the contacts appear ok on the plug.
i then checked the wires with a multimeter while switching light on and off but nothing was showing.
i cant seem to find any door switches to check if they are stuck...
where are they and how does the car tell the doors open or closed lol
any ideas would be greatfull cheers

There are switches at the front side of the doors.

cant seem to see them though must be going blind lol
only things there are the wire casing and the hinges

I'm having a similar problem

the light works fine when manually switched on

but when i open a front door it doesn't work!!
only back doors would make it work

The door switches are small (About a centimetre wide, and 1,5 high) black thingies, they are located on the door frame right next to the rubber sleevy thingy going to the door. Give them a check.
