Is a rotten front subframe a common problem these days on the brava/o, my 2000 JTD needs a new on as its got some major holes in, i will be changing it next week as i have found a good second hand one.
I remember doing a lot of tipo and uno subframes back when i worked at fiat.

ive got a very nice rust free frame cleaned and painted all for £45.
Just need to fit it next week.

yup, same problem as Tipo, and every other car based on a tipo. for some reason it was never changed, so now a lot of them are rotten.

Changed the sub frame today,took about 2 1/2 hours all went fine with no broken bolts.

Blimey your original is very bad! Its a shame Fiat did not protect them very well and it does not help that the scuttle drain tubes come out right above it.

Must be hard being in the UK with the whole salted roads everywhere. Recks the underbody.
