alright guys im new here. im liking the site alot.

im in the process of looking for a mega brake upgrade for bravo 1.8 hlx.

was wanting to know if fiat coupe 20v turbo brembo calipers would fit onto the bravo.

also could anyone shed some light on how easy it is to convert the rear drums to discs please.

i have already used the search engine by the way if anyone thinks im being lazy

any help would be greatly apreceated please

thanx :)

I have the 1.2 bravo steel (Greece) and the next month i will install front&rear brakes from Alfa Romeo 146's.The converting is very simple because the only need is to change the final ends.BUT if the disks are big then you must to change and the iron bar.The good thing with this car is the distibutor pressure.

ok i have a 1.8 hlx

i think its a straight swap. i just need someone to confirm this.

i have 17's and the discs are 305mm

I use the Coupe's front and rear disks without problem (had rear drums when bought), but not the 20v's (front).
Does you car have ABS? (I don't.)
If yes, I've heared some problems from a friend of mine. It seems to him that he has no brakes at all even with full usa of the distibutor pressure. But it looks better in disks than in drums...

ivec got abs....

i have herd that i might need sanwich plates..

can someone plz tell me if these brembo calipers actualy fit and what needs done.

i have cash to buy a set just need confirmation

thanx
