hummmmmm..........

it FUC**NG works lads

mainly its killed the flat spot in second gear totally. rather than a pause it just goes

first is a million times more responsive (very instant on the pedal)

third feels more keen from 60 to 80

fourth and fith pull better on hills and on the motorway

the car sounds different too as it is drawing more air (induction roar without the induction kit)

over all its a good chip!!!

i am very very surprised it worked let alone did what was climed!

i would reccomend anyone with a 1.6 mk1 2 get 1 b4 2 mo as the price goes up. they are a piece of **** to fit! and a total bargin for 50 euros +postage

Does the moderator of this forum not see a duty to check this sort of post out.
As far as I can tell from the rest of the forums, there is no way of directly altering the 1.6 engine management. This suggests that this post is just an attempt get money for next to nothing, similar to the 40bhp resistive devices advertised on Ebay.

It isnt possible to alter the existing chip on the 1.6 but an add on or replacement chip may be available.

BUT - if anyone wants to mess around piggybacking/replacing chips on their ECU I would presume they would have this knowledge beforehand.

I doubt that this is your resistor lark but I also cannot say if their product will work.

Also - doesnt seem to have been much interest and nobody had replied since February
