Just replaced the passenger side Dipped Beam & Side lights, but there is now space on the driver's side to access the lights, there is one rather large engine component blocking the way & it doesn't seem to want to move, which is a good thing cos i dont want anything to be loose under there, but it is current causing me access probs! just would like to know if it would be easier to take the light out completely & change it (& if so how??)or.........any other suggestions? :bang:

Not sure what the component is and if it's in the same place in your engine as in mine but that side did require a little wriggling to get the cap off

of the top me ed the part is the air filter ass.a couple of jubilee clips and its off.nice.
My air pipe and filter are on the passenger side. Clear this up lilman, which engine is it?

yes 1 engine has it 1 side and 1 on the other side.my 1.6 is passenger side.
Its a 1.4, had to push the power cable for the lights to the side & managed to squeeze the protection cap out to give me access to my dipped beam & side lights, they make it look like you've got tons of space to work with in the handbook!Helz said:My air pipe and filter are on the passenger side.
