Hi!

Still struggling thro' my 72000-mile repairs/service! One problem I'd always had with the car since I got it was that the suspension was always bangety-bang-bang-bump over bumps and potholes, its not wearing tyres unevenly tho and passed last year's MOT no problem but looking at it now the drop-link bushes look very parlous both sides!!!

I've sent for new drop-links and wishbones, but I've just read various places this forum that you can come unstuck with cheaper wishbones - is that so and in what way? Euro and Partco want over £60 + VAT *each* for the things but they can be found on fleabay and elsewhere for a quarter of that - £140 (including VAT) for two wishbones is way outside my pocket-money!!!

Can somebody repost the step-by-step guide to replacing the wishbones please? - the link on www.70-whatever-it-was has long gone!!!

i found some wishbones on ebay for 35 a pair there made buy QH reputable after market spares for suspension and match if not exceed original quality the bushes seem a little harder than original but the ride isnt affected and buy god it handles when you replace these and get tracking straight tbh things like that you can't go wrong
