Trofeo 16V 80 1242cc 86K on clock Wreg

Airbag light on. Is it a similar fix as the Multipla ie WD40 on the contacts under the seat?

Smooth performance (was my brother's and he took care of it) though there is the slightest vibration in the 30-45mph band when gentle acceleration. A bit worried about not finding any old repair and service bills for a belt change!! Probably need to see to that. Any idea on the slight judder. Should probably get a fuel filter change.

Has had two cat converter changes in 3 years. A garage commented at MOT "petrol leak from fuel injectors which need specialist attention". Is this a tricky job?

Cheers Vince

RC, no warning lights on (excpt the airbag warning). But defnitely a fuel issue. Is it a mix or pump issue do you reckon>?

RC, OK that gives me something to work on – you will have guessed that I am an amateur. Should this hook up via the ECU to get a read out?

If you have the right machine with the right software, then yes. Speak to your local autospark who will probably have the equipment to do that.

RC, thank you. Took the car out today, and it's a lovely ride. The judder is so marginal. But yeah that Cat has got to be sorted.

it's true what they say...the ride is very sharp; you feel the road right through your bones.

Always appreciate help from the forum. Cheers Vince
