Hi, Ive a Brava 1.2 2001 and only have owned it a week and when i go above 50mph oil spews out of dipstick. Low mpd is fine. Any ideas please.

Check all the crank-case breather hoses, look for flattened / twisted examples, failing that you may have to remove them to see if they have become blocked or collapsed internally causing your crank-case to pressurise. What is the mileage? I'm thinking about ignition blow by where the crank-case gets pressurised by the engine s burned gasses due to piston ring / bore wear....

Thanks for that, looked like a blockage in the inlet air intake. Have cleared it and all seems okay so far.. Thanks again.
