- Hello all,
-glad to find a forum full of people that actually do not talk about themselves, but about their cars :D
-I have searched all the posted threads and I think the question I am about to make is new... if not...
- Here goes...
I still have the factory wheels (165/75/R14) fitted and I am about to change... I am going for the 185/55/R15,
BUT, here in Greece the 195/50/R15 are almost 150euros cheaper,
so I am asking you...
"if I fit the 195/50/R15 wheels, will the 1.2 Brava loose alot of its power (acceleration, top speed)...?"
- Thank you in advance...

P.S.: Open to other suggestions also!

hi mad brava

welcome to the forum my wife has 15 inch rims with 195/50 15 tyres on her punto and they do not catch are rub any where so putting them on the bravo there should not be a problem as for the loss of speed and acceleration there should not be a noticable difference as for me i own a bravo 1.2 sx with 17 inch rims with 205 40zr and these donot catch are rub either

i believe 1 of the lads on the bravo forum name big al has 18inch rims on his bravo 1.8 as for the tyre size i'm not sure and i'm sure they do not catch any bigger and you need arch work

i use 195/50/15 tyres. using them your car will have improved performance compared to the 185/55/15 you suggested. acceleration will improve because the 195/50 tyres have a smaller diameter making them easier to turn. also your cornering grip will improve because the 195/50 tyres are wider so you have more rubber in contact with the road. and as you say they are really really cheap.
