My s reg (98) 1.6 16v brava recently developed a running problem which seems to have been solved by fitting a new coil pack. This was done at a garage after using a diagnostics mahcine. Since then (a few days ago), my mileage counter will only increase by 4 miles, no matter how far I go! The trip counter works correctly but not the main mileage counter. If i drive over 4 miles then the counter goes up by 4 and the trip computer goes up by say, 20. When I turn the car off, the speedo and rev counter both move 'on their own' up and then down and then the mileage counter resets itself to before the 4 miles. In other words, I turn the car on, counter says 100264, after driving 20 miles, the coutner says 100268, turn the car off and then back on and i have done 100264 again! Althought the 4 miles are added on at the right time. Any suggestions, aybody??
