Got crackin this morning,put all fluids in car inc water ...Tbh ive never seen oil in a car so clean,its always black when i go and check it haha

Anyway,We got it going but at first it had tickover problems,wouldnt idle.after the battery had had a good run/charge and put fuel in,seems to be ok now

had to push it onto the rd so we could jump start it (try to ignore the noise of the tractor lol)



Test Run



The quality on the vid once uploaded on youtube,seems to have slowed down..but on the comp its spot on
but anyhow,ther's my car ...just need to put rear extension on and give it a bloody good wash

keep a close eye on the water and oil levels for a few weeks incase there are any leaks.

I am mate,was like a little boy in a sweet shop when i heard it run haha
yer i been told to..i always check every now and then anyway.The pas fluid took alot to get it settled and so did the oil.That takes a good half a litre in the filter.
yer,ive missed the noise mine makes,it sounds awesome with that twin exit backbox :slayer:
And was pleased with that mate,cheers,Looks brand new now with a shine on it.Was lucky my new oil breather arrived today aswell

as for PAS, bleeding the system is to fill it then turn lock to lock 5 times so i'm told, this is what i did and it seemed to do the job

Its another one of those threads that makes me want a HGT

I miss my 20v N/A as well, now.

sounds really really good Mickey, as said keep an eye on all those levels.
I always get paranoia after fitting an engine or gearbox etc etc.. Always start thinking I hope ive tightened everything even though I do everything methodically and check as im going.

must admit though id never give a cold engine that much revs on its 1st time start up, but I am overly cautious at times lol

@ Ry..after the engine had been running for bit (b4 we test drove it) it went low so topped it back up and we did turn the wheel few times,then after the test drive it went low again,so topped it back up.Been and checked and all is well now

Yer i got paranoia aswell thinkin is everythin tight lol,but it is as he did everythin tight when we were puttin it all back in,he's related to the g/f and wudnt put me in danger or do cowboy job on it

oh and about that,we actually started the car and had it runnin a bit first before we got the cam out so i wouldnt look an idiot if it didnt start
We had to get it hot so we could bleed the water system etc
