Hey guys,

I think my head gasket is breaking, I keep getting massive airlocks in the system, and have to bleed the two screws to get all the air out.

So I brought some stuff that *might* repair a slightly cracked head gasket, and in order to use it, I need to drain the coolant out, but cant find anything underneath the car, like a petcock, or screw or anything. It might be right in-front of me but I just cant find it. If anyone could guide me to it, or tell me a great way to drain it will be awesome!

I have 1998 Fiat Brava 1.4 12V if this helps.

Thanks alot!

Hi, There is no drain plug for some reason. I removed the lower radiator hose on the radiator side and put a bucket underneath. You may need a new jubilee clip if you do it this way.

Their are 3 bleed screws one at the top left of the radiator one to the right of the block and one to the left. The one on the radiator is closed last so if your missing out that one your probably not getting all the air out. Make sure you set the cabin heater to full when your bleeding it through aswell.
