![]() | Air Induction Kits Been looking at the K&N induction kits now, at only £80 they seem a cheap way of giving more power, but really is it very noticeable and has anyone ever fitted one themselves? thanks, ben

I suppose 4 £80, 5 or 10 bhp is not bad VFM. Regarding the fitting, i have no idea but would b interested 2 hear myself. Cheers, Rob.

No i'm not expecting huge power from it, its more to do with giving the engine the air it needs, rather than strangling it. Anyone know anywhere that does a kit designed specifically for the 1.2? Jamie if you can post a pic of your engine bay below I can tell you where to go from here. If you have the 1.2 16v engine it maybe possible to fit the system designed for the mk1 Punto Sporting (98 onwards) otherwise you may have to custom build one, not as difficult as it sounds. Its the 1.2 16v engine yes, and I was tempted to look at the punto kit available - wanted to know if it had been done before - dont mind being a 'pioneer' in these things... as long as it will fit. I am not really mechanically minded but will turn my hand 2 anything. If any1 has a pic of their HGT with this filter fitted, can they post with some guidelines :) Cheers, Rob. Not sure how mcuh work it takes on the Bravo, but they are generally easy and quick to fit (30 mins max). The important part is where you place the cold air feed pipe. Make sure it is in a place where cold air can flow freely up the pipe and over the filter when the car is moving (for example, poking out under the front bumper). Looking at getting one soon for my Bravo. Kendz

Posts: 4 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | Roberto, yes I fitted a 57i k&n two days after purchasing my car. Its v.easy to fit. Most cars when fitted with a k&n filter produce a more rumbly note but the amount of 'sucking' noise you hear through the filter with the HGTs 5 cylinder engine is awesome, mental is the only way to discribe it. If you have a pic of the HGT engine bay I could draw on the image and show you where it fits. Tom 2.0 20v Bravo HGT

I'm interested on where the cold air intake pipe goes. Thanx a million, Rob. Bravo HGT 2.0 20v with Mod'ing underway. Seicento Sporting with Mod'ing underway.
