Woop!

im going fri morning for an engine with 76k and recent cambelt change.Cant wait to get my car back on the road,hopefully just in time for summer

it does need new breaks (discs,pads) and also mot'in..and whatever else it fails on lol..then tax and re-insurin lol

just a thought thought even though you say its had a reacent cambelt change, personally i'd still recomend new ones while its out for piece of mind.

Cool good news. What makes it a recon? I tried to find a reconditioned block for mine but failed, had to get a scrap block.

the guy said its been reconditiond when the cambelt got done.,its out of a marea.but the car has been scrapped ages ago.
well even if its not a recon,im still happy as i been looking for aaages to find another engine...especially at£70 :slayer:

I spell brakes wrong sometimes aswell Ace how did the polo and your back take the weight? those blocks must be heavy. Has your Bravo got ABS since it is a convert.

well tbh it wernt that bad,took us hour and half and suprisingly the polo took the weight we had a crane to get the engine in (picking up end) and had 2 mates home end.(big dudes) who just lifted the engine out of my boot,no messin lol
Oh it has abs yes mate,and im actually chuffed it has otherwise this one time..at band camp haha only jokin
i was playin with a fezz st and got onto a bend and my back end came out a bit but i didnt skid,managed to keep going straighht..i think if it wernt for the abs,id have lost it and probably ended up on other side of the road somewhere lol
