well today i put a deposit on a late 2000 Brava, the dealer i bought it from hadn't had a chance to do anything with it, so i saw it raw, which was a good thing!

Took it for a test drive, everything felt sound, no apparent causes for concern, so we did the deal. The car was on sale for €1500, having been reduced from €1900, & we agreed on €1300.

However included in the deal ( & this is in writing!) is a full valet, full service, new tyres, 4 new door handles (whats with the Brava's door handles!), new belts & tensioners, an NCT to 02/10, & if she fails her next NCT on anything i simply bring her back & the dealer will sort it for me! & he's going to sort out the bodywork which needs some TLC
