Yep another 'leak question' ...clasic symptons, wet on the passanger side roof lining, get a drip on drivers side which splashes onto stearing wheel when i brake. ive just siliconed areas of windscreen seal which looked a bit dodgy but i know that water is comming in from further back around the sunroof somewhere.

next step is new sunroof seal i recon. mite as well stop as much water gettin in as poss. anybody replaced one of these befor without actually removing the sunroof. looks like it cud be done maybe by positioning it differnely , doing a bit, then moving it a bit more.

any help appreciated,

Thanks
Adam

i'm getting the same leaks, starts on drivers side though and then appears on passenger side, have been told to try the aerial seal..... havent tried yet but seems like a longshot for the amount of water comin in
let us know if sunroof seal sorts the problem

Ive already re-done the arial seal and the water is at the side not the center. im sure its the sunroof, i think possibily it is that the drip tray around the sunroof is over flowing but the drainage pipes at the side are completly clear which is a little confusing. i poured loads of water into the drip tray and it drains very quick when i watch it.

im not going to attempt the sunroof seal unless i can get some advice or atleast spk to some1 who has done it, as its not something i wana get stuck doing halfway through. (specialy if it starts raining as i aint got a garage! :p )

Im still waiting for my seal to arrive before I can do mine (oredered in July, grrr), but it looks like you can possibly remove the galss without removing the rooflining and all the other bits. There looks like theres 4 torx bolts holding the glass in place.

Like I say I havent tried this yet lol. ;)

Had the same problem with my sun roof, for some reason the water was not draining off down the pipes quick enough even though they were clear. so it was over flowing. I solved the problem by filling the gaps between the roof and the sun roof with some all purpose silicone sealant i picked up at trago.
This enabled the water to have more time to drain and has been working since last xmas, (just remember to build the sealant up in stages so you don't leave any holes!!)
