Can anyone please confirm if a 99(V) Brava 1.4 has a 4 instrument panel or only 3 (ie. no rev counter) or does it depend on the trim spec (SX ?). To cut a long story short, I offered to pick one up from a breakers for a friend who is on holiday and I have no way of contacting him or getting to see the car. The panel I've been given only has temp, fuel and speedo so I'm not sure if this is correct or not, it's from a 97 car as opposed to 99.

The S did not come with a rev counter, the SX model did.

Its just the trim level thats all.

while on the subject of instruments,my digital readout is not lighting up is it just a bulb or more serious it still seems to register miles trip counter etc. just almost invisible,everything else works .anyone faced this before?

Any ideas anyone ?

Change the bulb behind the display.

Problem solved bulb replaced 75p for bulb.
