got a fault 2 day my dash/ignition lights stay on when i take the keys out on my 2001 1.2 16v bravo can anyone help

Check the ignition barrel and its wiring.

The engine still turns on and off ok?

yeah all thats fine

took batt off for 15mins dash lights have gone off now but i can open the e/w without ingintion on dont know if thats right
