no just removing the badges is a huge improvement next things to tidy up are the door handles and paint the head light washers at same time

so far i have charged battery and it starts on the very first and i mean first flick of key not sure if there all like this but it's nice and from below zero it sounds absolutely fine no rattling or piston slap and it's about minus 3 here at the moment

also made up some new numberplate's

and cut and coded a new key so i have a red and 2 blues now

radiator on order so it's well on it's way:slayer:

I already have marea handles fitted, therefore fitting them to my car is pointless. They are going on another car. :)

NICE!!

keep the headlamp washers, add poly's, fix the seats.

impressed you managed to get the seats apart, on punto those clip things are pretty tight, going to be interesting getting them back on? :D

really fancy a blue bravo now

can you still order spares for the seat heaters?

You really should visit other forums more. :)

Heres my guide on Fiatboo to fitting brand new heating elements for £39.94.
My Heated Seats Guide :slayer:

Its 12MB in size so if your on a slow connection it'll take a little bit longer to view.

Dont bother with genuine fiat parts as they are £150+ per each element. Approx £600 to replace both seats. OUCH!

Wow didn’t realise it was that easy to take the covers off. My drivers side foam is naffered so I think ill get a new stronger foam base for my seats.

Is the rear just as easy? Im taking it off to push out trolley F**ing dents at some point so I may as well wash the cover.

Keep the pics coming. Looks like you have a nice workspace too pip.
Nice guide Joske

you can fit the foam from ascrapyard passenger side seat base, they're usually mint condition.

rear is easier.
seats dont dent

i have swapped drivers and passengers bases over and i have got some lumps of foam to rebuild the base on the passengers side now

i also have one heater element down hence swamping the bases ill source a heater for that side at a later date when i have time

the heaters and sponge are no longer available from fiat for the hgt hlx

i have a slight advantage when it comes to refiting the metal rings that hold the covers in place and hold there shape i have fiat tools to play with lol crimping pliers, actually i think there widely available

putting the covers back is actually easier than taking them of

heres some more sponge and the covers out the wash
