Hi

My Passenger window goes up real slow - well no wear near the speed of my driver window

Does anyone know why this is? and could advise me on what i need to do exactly.

Also as alot of you may know withthe sx brava you dont get the auto close click thing on the passenger side - surely theres sumthing i can do to let it do this

Please advise!!

HI,

First and easyiest thing to try is WD40 down the channels. Lower the window, put the tube of the WD40 can between edge of the glass and the black rubber channel it runs in and spray. Do the same to the front and back edges of the glass.

If that doesn't work then it's likely to be a voltage drop in the wiring or a bad earth to the motor.

Dave.

use silicone spray and the window will be good as new in no time.

NEVER USE WD40!!! or any other oil based lubricant., it makes them worse because dirt sticks ot the oil making them get very tight.

you need a double one touch relay to get both windows moving with one touch.

Tanks boss, ordered that silicone spray

And will def be ordering the alarm kit soon to install and then doing the leather on the steering wheel door panels and chairs...Give me strenth!!!:slayer:

old thread revival... where can i get a one touch passanger window closing relay? are they integral to the sun roof or can i fit one individually?
