Can anyone help me?! I have a recurring problem with my Brava 1.4s, registered 1997. The exhaust pops when I'm slowing down to go round corners, etc. I don't know if it's significant, but I can't get AM stations on the radio because of a constant buzzing. We've had a new exhaust; lambda sensor; coil; new plugs and leads. We've had the engine checked with the computerised equipment - nothing shows up. No fault lights are on. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be grateful!

Hi,
did they take a 4-gastest on the car? If so give us these figures because I think there will be something wrong with these. Popping in the exhaust is normaly produced by false air sucked in.

I had a similar problem on a Citroen ZX that I had some time back. The main solution, after having gone through some of the loops that you have, was that the air filter housing was not securely fitted to the throttle body. Once I had clamped it on properly it made the world of difference.

Worth a try!
