Hi all
I just bought a diy alarm and have got it all wired in except the positive which needs to be connected to the courtesy light positive feed so that it detects a current when doors are opened. Now i think itsa red and white wire but not 100% Can anybody help?

Thanks

There is a black/red wire and a white/red wire according to the haynes? Also i've seen people tap straight into the fuse, any ideas?

Thanks

ok i checked the diagram for your car, you can attach it to any of the white/red coloured wires on the entire lighting circuit (any will do the job). the easiest way to do that is at one of the door switch pins. there is one screw to remove, then the switch pops off and you can see 2 wires attached to it. one is black coloured, dont use that, use the other one it is white/red.

anywhere is fine, it wont affect fuse.

getting through bulkhead can be done using the hole behind the fusebox. i think there is a pic of it on a brava in the ICE section.
