Technical Issue with temperature going crazy

Mr Orzic Al, i don't think so. Really? Hmmm, hope your engine is ok, be a shame to ruin that car of yours.

Nope wasnt him, I really dont want to say as I like the bloke and what he does is second to none.
But anyway the HGT is all better again (y) Got under the car, fiddled with all connectors and left the battery disconnected for an hour and it seems to have solved the overheating problem, got board of leaving it running on the drive to see if it overheated, it just wouldnt over heat. Whoop whoop :D

Come on name and shame. It wont be the first bad piece of advice given to someone on here.

It was me who told him to do this with the Forte engine flush only. I would not advise to do it with any other than Forte.

It isn't a problem with the Forte flush as it has additives that are at least as good as the oils properties. I used to have a Forte Frenchaise a long time ago and we used to do this on a regular basis. And I still do it.

One of the modified engines I run I had the car running up and down the country for three weeks in the fashion I drive daily (which is rather demanding). The engine is still in good health 60,000 miles later.
