What up people,im have a smash fiat coupe 20v turbo.also a 1.6 bravo,im wondering if its possible to take the rear discs and put them onto my 1.6 bravocar.if so how long and how difficult would it be.[8]

in my experience coupe rear brake are pretty crappy too start with, i wouldnt think its worth it too change them over.

just a plan guys,
the HGT discs from the rear of the car can be fitted to any of the lesser bravo's as long as you get all the cables etc for the hand brake
it is a better and safer option than trying to bodge a coupe set to the bravo as the disc diameter might be different then there is the offset of the disc surface to the part where the axle or wheel bolts on for clearance,

yes it is possable because i have coupe rear disks on my bravo 1.4

i got the disks from a scrapped coupe and i just needed the mounting brackets a new handbrake cable and new brake hoses for the rear.

the reason i did this wasent for brakeing better it was for the looks, drums look dreadfull imo, so the disks have a nice look to them

i have a few pics of the disks fitted on my webby www.mybravo.co.uk if you are interested.
