Hi all, First post. Just got a 2001 Brava 1.2 hsx. One major problem, twice in the last couple of days this has happened when I'm turning a bend. I'm going around a corner and the power steering stops working, the engine does not die and the engine light comes on. When I straighten up everything seems normal, car is still running, power steering is back but the engine light stays on (until I turn off engine for a while) . This has only happened twice and I've gone around loads of corners, but am really worried cause it's very hard to turn when this happens. Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks guys, but no luck - no fuse issue and the power steering fluid is topped up Ok - so still a mystery.

Any more ideas/help would be appreciated.
