Hi all,

i've got a 1.2 brava v reg, i bought the car with an after market head unit, i have bought a new headunit, the problem is the guy who put in the last head unit cut one of the socket things off (not the speaker one) and put a new one on so all the wires are in weired places:bang: my problem is nothing to do with the speaker socket, its the other one, i have seven wires going to this i have looked through loads of past threads and have found out what some are but what are the others, i read something about telephone muting????? anyway here goes:

Orange = ingition feed
Red = permanent feed
Black = earth
Yellow/Black = illumination feed
Grey = ?????????????
Green/White = ???????????
Red/Orange = ???????????

Could some one tell me what the last three are its just my new head unit only needs 5 of these wires!! thank you all for reading.

I don't know to be honest but it might help others if you post the stereo make/model...?

if i remember from when i did my head unit theres another connector that basically turns the volume up on the standard unit when u drive faster so im assuming the three wires u got extra are for that...

Ikasu bluetooth stereo and it has a number dialling pad incorporated.
